João Quintela Cavaleiro was present, as a speaker, at the Lisbon Law Summit 2020
Toward the theme: Large companies and boutique companies: competition or complementarity ?, João Quintela Cavaleiro, was present at the Lisbon Law Summit, as a speaker at the headquarters of Microsoft Portugal.
The panel brought together Luís Pais Antunes, Managing Partner of PLMJ, Francisco Proença de Carvalho, Partner of Uria, Hugo Nunes, Partner of Sofia Galvão Advogados, Paulo Monteverde, Partner of BMA, Hugo Martins Braz of Valadas Coriel and moderated by Filipa Mendes Pinto, Founding partner of Find.
In a debate between lawyers, where there were many differences of opinion, Cavaleiro & Associados’ Lawyer resulted in a summary that the interaction between large and boutique companies is complementary rather than competition. When legal advice should focus on solutions tailored to the exact needs of customers, joint work is required. Keeping in mind the positioning in the large Centers, but also in areas close to local industrial centers, it is essential to maintain this alignment. If the solutions require the support of a large structure, society has been able to respond to this need and Cavaleiro & Associados has revealed itself as a solution to support large structures when the solution needs a more selected intervention and / or proximity.
